Guys: when you need to talk about something do you seek out a girl or a guy? Or do you seek out a specific gender based off of what you need to talk about? Please explain (please!)
Girls: Do you find guys or girls are more emotional when you need to have a "serious" talk. Who gives the better advice. Why do you think that is?

I think it depends on the context. If you are upset about a boyfriend situation, I think it's totally better to go to a mutual guy friend to talk to, to find out a guys perspective. I don't think girls can give such a thing, because they're just gonna rag on your guy.
If you just need a shoulder to cry on, it depends who you are more comfortable with. Personally if I'm upset, I would go my best friend, which is a boy.
When i need to talk about something usuall I talk to a girl. Girls are more open to talking about emotions, so I usually dont wanna come off as "Faggy" or nething like that to one of my guy buddies. But if it was a common guy problem then I'd prolly talk to one my guy freinds bout it.
I think it does depend on what the issue is, and also your relationship with the person from either gender. Girls are sometimes easier to talk to about certain situations, but i think for the most part it depends on how strong your relationship is with the person. I know i can talk to my best guy friend about anything.
When I need to talk about something I usually talk to a guy. Most of my close friends are guys and I feel that could relate to any issues that I would have. Also, I feel they would be the ones to tell me the straight truth to my face.
