What has caused you to break up with people? Or what situation can warannt a break-up?

Well when me and my girlfreind broke up, It was basically because she didnt want to be dumped.
IT was obvios i wasnt happy, and i almost had broken up with her, and she convinced me not to and give it another shot. Then two days later she broke up with me using the same things i said to her in my attempt to dump her.
only difference: it was online.

When I broke up with my girlfriend, it was mainly because I was headed away to college and she was stuck back home in high school for another year. It was probably the best idea because it would tough to have a relationship in that situation.
