Get Out Of My Head!!
I wanted to talk about making assumptions. Usually we're not suppose to make them because "When you assume it makes an ass out of you and me" and I'm starting to really understand what that means. I've noticed that with certain people, if nyou decided to just go ahead and do something based off of what you think they want you to do, you end being totally wrong. At times it's no big deal and it doesn't amount to anything, but other times you end up never wanting to speak to that person again. So my questions is: what's the worst "Assumption Story" you have and second, why do you think we assume things in the first place?

One Classic example of assuming gone wrong happened at my work the other day. I work at Papa Gino's and part of our job is to answer the phones.
Now this didn't happen to me, but this is the conversation I overheard from one side of the phone:
Matt: No, we don't have those at this location, sorry dude.
Matt: I'm sorry ma'am
Matt: look I didn't mean anything by it, I call everyone dude.
Matt: I'm sorry
Matt: You want to talk to the manager?
Matt: Hold on one moment.
We deffiantly assume things? Sometimes we assume too much. Assuming is sometimes bad, but at times you just have to do it. Ide say if your really confused you should just ask the person what they meant. That way you dont have to assume at all. I cant really think of any stories right now sorry.
